Who, What, Where, When and Why

Who we are: East Tennesseans who love the beautiful outdoors of the majestic Appalachian Mountain Region.

What we are here for: To provide information on the many outdoor activities in and around the East Tennessee area, including Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina and North Georgia.

Where we are: East10ec is located in the tri-cities area of East Tennessee in the Appalachian Mountain Region.

When can you do these activities: Some of these activities are seasonal, some are year-round fun, and some are a once-in-a-life-time experience!

Why does it matter?: God created a vast world with so many things for our senses to take in. Sights, sounds, smells, tastes and things we touch, from the actual feel of the wind on your face blowing off the top of a mountain, to the cool refreshing feel of jumping in a lake, to the feeling inside of taking in God’s creation at a mountaintop overlook on a motorcycle ride. And to some of us the smell of a freshly spent round at the range.

Many of the adventures we will suggest in this site will open up a world to all 5 of those senses if you just TAKE IT ALL IN!
